Fall Semester
EQUIP
We believe that focusing on learning and laying down roots through rigorous biblical study and intentional wilderness experiences provides foundational biblical training to help students dig deeper into their God-given identity and connect that identity to their God-given purpose.
We believe that, when students know who they are, they can thrive wherever they are and in whatever they are doing. Therefore, a large focus of our classes are on knowing the whole counsel of God and understanding the Bible’s context, and how it applies to life. By the end of the semester, students will also know how God designed them, male and female, and how that applies to their purpose.
We believe in experiencing God through outdoor adventure. These intentional experiences are designed to activate students’ faith by pushing them out of their comfort zone. From climbing some of our famous Colorado 14-ers to backpacking across the Summit Divide, these experiences will challenge, motivate, and move students to a more intimate walk with Christ, causing their faith to come alive and their purpose to be understood more deeply.
We believe that effectively reaching and loving the world begins with knowing and understanding our God-given purpose. Through discipline, rigorous study, authentic community and intentional outdoor experiences, we believe each student will encounter God and solidify their identity in Christ as their foundation for LIFE, which will usher in the second semester of activating that faith.

Spring Semester
EMPOWER
At E4 Life, the second semester starts by encountering a new culture while living abroad. We believe once God’s people understand their God-given identity, they are then liberated to begin living out their God-given purpose. This international component gives students a chance to broaden their Christian worldview as they experience cross cultural missions. As the students live in a campus environment, the second semester is designed to put into practice all that they have learned during the first semester.
Students will be trained on a variety of subjects in a 2-week intensive format including Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, Spiritual Leadership, Missions and the Book of Acts, while having opportunities to be on mission throughout the country on week long mission excursions. These mission experiences will give students opportunities to live out their faith and watch God use their lives for His glory. We believe as these students dive deeper in these subjects and live out their purpose, in turn, their faith will be activated and they will begin to see God’s unique call on their lives.
SPRING OF 2025 SEMESTER DETAILS

EMBARK
After the second semester concludes, students will be trained up and sent out to one of RMC’s supported missionary bases and begin serving on the mission field. While there, E4 Life students will learn what it takes to live on the mission field, serve alongside other missionaries, and begin to put into practice what has been learned thus far. We envision this stage of E4 to be one of integration, taking on leadership responsibilities that are in line with our students’ callings and giftings. This will require much prayer and insight on the leadership team as to what a student’s best fit is and begin to hone individual spiritual gifts.

Debriefing
ENGAGE
Here at E4, we believe that this last piece of the gap year initiative is to the overall outcome of E4 Life. This two week debrief will be to reflect on the E4 journey, gain perspective on the future, process the transition from E4 Life to home, and prepare to engage the world around them with the new found character and purpose God has developed in each student.
