What to expect

Fall Semester

EQUIP

Your first 16 weeks will be spent on our campus near Colorado Springs. While here half your day will be spent learning from teachers on a variety of topics. The focus of these classes is to build a foundation of who God is, understanding the Bible in context, and how it applies to your life.

Spring Semester

EMPOWER

After going home for Christmas break you will fly to Peru for the next 13 weeks living on campus at the CC Bible College in the city of Cajamarca. This international component gives you a chance to broaden your Christian worldview as you experience cross cultural missions.

Mission Excursion

EMBARK

Towards the end of your time in Peru you will team up with a few classmates to train for a 5 week mission trip to one of our partner ministry bases. After a week of cultural training and preparation you will embark to your country to begin the last part of your gap year.

Debrief

ENGAGE

You will end your year back on campus in Colorado processing your entire Gap year. Our experienced team will spend time one on one with you and in groups talking about your time on the field with the goal of helping you to understand how to apply everything you have learned to daily life.
